Snappy phone with nice features
Although MIUI leaves a bit too little elbow room for me, the OS is beautiful and easy to navigate. Dislike the unremovable Chinese bloatware apps though. Remember to specifically deny their access to your phone data as they have it per standard.
The camera is quite nice. The dual camera function in Portrait Mode provides an almost DSLR-looking feel to the pictures with the background being blurred while the object of interest is entirely in focus. However the quality of the photos themselves does not match that of other flagship phones. Fingerprint reader in front is sweet, although I liked it better in the back like on the Mi 3 Note, where you could unlock it with your index finger and hold it with the same hand. It charges somewhat fast. Battery life is pretty much consistent around 2 days of use for me. Loudspeaker in phone isn't that good but acceptable. Call sound quality is rather good.
One thing that I can't decide whether to like or not is the surface feel of the phone. Don't get me wrong, it is perfectly manufactured and feels very smooth and nice to the touch. But it is also extremely slippery and prone to sliding off of every surface where it gets the chance. It seems like less than 1 degree from level is enough to make it slide and fall to the ground on its own. Gotta be wary of where you place it. Still haven't decided if I like it or not.

But adhesive is too weak to stick to the wall for more than an hour.
