Replace a 44-pin HDD with SSD
I replaced the 4GB HDD in my vintage powerbook with a 16GB SSD, it was meant to plug directly into the board, so this allowed perfect fitment.

N64 - a nostalgic trip down memory lane
I promise you won’t remember how blocky and polyhedral the graphics truly were. It’s not about that, it’s about the memories! And it is fun. The controls are just as whacky today as they were in 1996.

Make NES Great Again!
I bought an NES from the Internet. It has a 3rd-Party 72-PIN ZIF. It was AWFUL, I began to wonder if the original NES was so unreliable when it came to inserting cartridges. I saught a replacement part. LOTS of 3rd-Party option. I was not going to venture down that route again. The tear-down is simple enough, if you can't figure it out, or want to be cautious there are videos on the Internet to guide you. Once the refurbished part is installed, that's when the magic happens. Games suddenly work, and you can finally enjoy owning a functional piece of history.
