If you can buy this for $30 or less, go for it.
I had been eyeing this camera for a while, ever since seeing it on the original website, Lomography. I wanted a camera that could use regular 35mm film, so that I could easily take it to a local pharmacy or grocery store to develop. Now, it takes good pictures, it's easy to use, and comes with different features like long exposures and being able to take a photo over another for interesting effects. The photos come out nicely and aren't too small. However, the price is ridiculous for such a simple camera. On the official website, this can bring you down almost $100. I got it here for about $27, so it was a steal. But I wouldn't have bought it for the original price. This isn't any different than a normal camera if not for the fisheye effect, and it isn't a very strong one at that. You would need many vertical lines to notice the slight bending effect. To have some real fun with this you would have to buy all its extra accessories, which are usually about 50 bucks each. Additionally, I've had some problems where not all of my photos show up once developed. In fact, it's like they were never taken. Quite odd, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, since I am a beginner. All-in-all though, this is a pretty camera, vintage look and feel to the camera and to its photos. The photos come out with an authentic vintage feel to them, which is nice. If you can buy this for 30 bucks or less, go for it. Any more, though, I feel is a bit of a ripoff.
