Easy to build and lightweight with great detail.
It's not easy to add tiny details on such a small ship, and this kit has a lot of it. The only area I wish had more detail is the "trench" that lines the starboard, port and stern. But for an experienced modeller this can be easily rectified with plasticard.
With some modifications you could drill tiny holes into the hull and add LEDS to light the ship up.
In all, it's a great model that one can display on their bookshelf, or even use in a diorama.

Great for display but not as much for gaming unless you're playing 40k Orks.
Tamiya model kits are always top quality. They're great as display pieces but not as good as gaming pieces as some parts are very fragile. This can be rectified by either replacing certain components with metal versions, reinforcing them with plasticard or using more glue than required.
Nonetheless it is a great model that is well worth the purchase. :)

Helena - Gladiator model from Reaper Miniatures
This model is an interesting sculpt. The design is well executed but the posture is awkward. It's a very static appearance for a model that has potential.
That being said, if you reposition the shield arm to be in front of the model and bend the sword arm at the elbow, the model will look as though it is shield bashing someone or is about to stab an enemy. Another option is to keep the original posture and stick an arrow, sword or spear in her torso. This will create a casualty appearance that is suitable for dioramas representing a battle between armies or a duel between warriors. (Such as Althea or Tulach, another two gladiator models from Reaper Miniatures.)
