Successfully used as replacement for blown Iris light PSU

I bought this to replace a blown PSU on a Philips Iris colour-changing LED decorative light which is several years old. The rating on the broken PSU was 24 V, 12 W, which exactly matches this one. The actual current draw on the light is more like 140 mA maximum (measured with a bench PSU while diagnosing which part had failed), so this mains adapter will not be stressed. I added a female 5.5 x 2.1mm connector to the lead on the light, plugged them together, and it worked again.

Removed uPVC window handle screws

Some of the (Philips) screws in my flat's uPVC window handles had worn heads and so could not be tightened as needed. Some of them came out with some effort, some were too rounded. These bits removed them with no fuss. I'm not sure if the drill end is also meant to be used counter-clockwise, but it worked better that way for me. I had success using the third-largest bit for the M5 screws and an electric drill on slow speed.

Fits perfectly (no surprise as it's a VX part). You can fit it without taking out the battery if you first disconnect the level sensor because then it can be pushed towards the battery to undo the clip underneath and then wiggled out sideways. Remember to gently pry off the metal clip first. I replaced mine because the old one was full of gunge.
