All in all, worth their money

Very good headset. The noice canceling is awesome. Imagine being submerged with your ears underwater; that's how it feels like. After extensive use, once you do put them down, it feels like you've left paradise. The sound quality is good. I haven't had much experience with other headsets to compare, but it never left to desire. The Bluetooth is a useful feature. You wanna listen to something but also go grab a coffee? You can just do that. The range is alright: it uses the same 2.4Ghz connection your wifi might be using, so if you can surf the web from your bathroom, you'll also be able to listen to some tunes. The batteries are okay. I believe they advertise for like 30 hours. That however is far from the truth. On bluetooth, they last somewhere around 18 hours. A thing I was surprised about is that they don't charge through the 3.5mm jack. I don't know why I assumed they would though. The charging is done through a dedicated USB type c port (epic win). While the headset does not charge through the jack, it does however supply it with some power. Perhaps enough to reach that 30 hour mark. The cushions are comfortable enough. I wear them for like 10 hours a day and they do not become uncomfortable. The fact that they are removable is a huge thing. Keep in mind that the leather cushions will eventually rot and become really disgusting. Since you can replace them, that will extend their life time considerably. Finally some cons: • there were occasions when (while on bluetooth mode) the sound started to stutter out of the blue. I was like 1m away from the device I was connected to. That stuff just happens. Quick fix: turn off the headset and turn it back on • you can't use the touch controls for jack shit when you're connected to a Windows device. Most you can do is adjust the volume. Now make a distinction: ◘ While connected through the 3.5mm jack, the touch controls don't even work. They're not there. Period. ◘ When connected through bluetooth, the touch controls do exist (you can hear when you trigger them) but the only ones that work are volume ↑ or ↓ It would be nice to be able to hook the other controls to some actions using something like autohotkey • the grip is not tight enough. I believe Linus mentioned this in one of his reviews: don't expect to be headbanging with them on.
