Direct replacement
Great "bolt on" direct replacement.
Pros
It is a complete assembly. If you just buy the gears you have to disassemble further than this.
Perfect fit
Cons
To put the pulley on the gearbox needs to be opened to get to the wrench flats. I found that there was barely any grease in the assembly. Get yourself some HP or EP grease you will need it. I am still debating but I might add a zirk fitting for yearly maintenance.
Toro must have hired an engineer that was not an A student as some of the design is great but the install is horrible. Just tear everything off plastic and all it will be easier.
