I very much prefer the local high street over the internet and out-of-town retail for regular purchases. However, not every item is stocked and so eBay is useful for discontinued lines, good deals and my philatelic and numismatic interest.

Good value seeds for containers and borders.
Cinceraria Silver Dust has tiny seeds and initially needs care when sowing in trays before potting on. Once established in late Spring, the plants offer a pleasant colour against colourful border plants and container pots.

Excellent lightweight magnifying glass
The glass is very lightweight and convenient, its size allowing viewing in subdued lighting. It has a powerful magnification.
The very minor irritation is where the metal clasp holds the magnifying glass in its metal surround, the clasp has a slight rattle (metal against metal).

Pleasure to get Sanyo TV working again
The TV remote to operate certain functions on the TV is critical. The purchase ticked all the boxes and allowed the TV to work properly again.
