Lesson from history.
Unfortunately, the idealistic utopians who dream of universal brotherhood and the end of racism, exploitation and war are not likely to choose this book. It's a pity, because it's often their attempts to bring about their dream world that lead to the sort of events portrayed in this stimulating book. Read it, and then pass it on to your 'Guardian'* reading friends - assuming you have such friends.
* For people not familiar with the English newspaper scene this is a paper described by a 'Sunday Times'** journalist as 'a low-circulation left-wing north London newspaper'.
** This is a high circulation newspaper with a balanced political stance.

Good things: easy to read, sturdily made...
Good things: easy to read, sturdily made. Bad thing: there is no single page Motorway map giving an overall picture; instead you have to flip through ten pages showing the motorways.
