TS-950SDX - still a champ
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Quality shines through, even after 27 years. This is a big, solid, well-built flagship transceiver. The subreceiver works very well, and cross-band operation is possible with a secret menu. DSP is excellent by 20th century standards, and it boasts that famous Kenwood sound on TX (150 watts) and RX. Filters, VBT, AIP and notch give lots of options for dial-twiddling and weak-signal reception. Get one without the well-known cold-solder problems and you’ve got a gem. No, it doesn’t have a waterfall display, but it’s modern enough for digital modes and interfaces well with your PC. And at today’s prices, it’s almost a bargain.
