Love this camera! The lense and "scene" modes are excellent.

Love this camera, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a bit bigger than what a "point & shoot" should be. I actually purchased the Canon Powershot SX500 first (from a store) and took it back before researching this camera and purchasing this one. The lense on this camera is amazing. The panorama feature is a plus, and there are excellent "scene" modes that make capturing a great picture very easy. I purchased this camera to take on a trip to Alaska, and am so excited to take photos now. One glitch I ran into was that because the lense can zoom so far, often times I have to back way up to zoom in to get the shot I want because the lense will not focus if I'm too close to the subject. Also it has a crazy strong flash which can wash faces/shots out so I purchased a diffuser which is on it's way now so I can't tell you how it works with the camera. The nice thing about it though is it takes great shots in low light situations...so often the photo is great without a flash. I wish the camera was smaller but it will be much easier than my big Nikon DSLR...there IS a belt camera bag that it will fit in, it's just on the bigger side.
