Awesome Movie, Great Finale
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Despite some plot holes, which, let's face it, are par for the course with this franchise, this movie is a wonderfully engaging finale with beautiful animation, breathtaking action scenes, and an incredible depiction of Kaiba.
It is a shame that the proper Japanese subtitles weren't included.

Old School in the Best Way
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The movie hearkens back to the first Spider-Man or Batman Begins, superhero movies that existed before superhero movies were run-of-the mill, in that it really takes its time to develop the characters, and I appreciated the added depth. The villain is lame, and so are the effects, but those aren't the focus.
This Steelbook is GORGEOUS; it looks like a nineties-style rainbowSLPOSION of color, and it feels fun precisely because the movie isn't really that at all. The graphic novel is fine, but nothing to write home about, and to be frank you'd be better off buying it at your local Chapters/Barnes and Noble because the copies there would be printed in higher quality and without being so small that it is a bit of an eye strain to read.
I didn't walk in a Power Rangers fan, but I sure walked out one.
