Hugh Miller, the plain facts & just the facts!
I am a geologist who has read most of Hugh Millers books & visited some important fossil exposures discovered by this fascinating man. However, I was looking for an accurate picture of the real Hugh Miller. Michael Taylors book is factual & plain speaking. Taylor outlines each facet of Hugh Millers changing career without drama or conjecture. There are a plethora of quotations from many of Millers books as well as statements from his friends & contemporaries. Whilst being accurate & concise this is not a gripping page turner; I found it very dry in parts but it is, nevertheless a solid & important reference book.

Excellent value shower unit!
Good flow of water; easily adjusted to different flow speeds, easy to read the temperature figure deisplay. Quickly heats up and maintains an even heat. On shut-down the flow continues for a few seconds to empty the hot water and prevent scale build-up. The shower unit looks good too nand is fairly easy to fit with step-by-step diagrams.

Still an Absolute Classic
The Apple iPod looks good, sounds good and (if you want to listen to hours of your fav music), does you good! Robust, simple to operate, easy to carry; the iPod Classic is a brilliant piece of micro-engineering. Able to store thousands of music tracks it is the ideal way of having all your music collection in one place but listen to it wherever you travel. Brilliant!! 5 stars!
