Oreck QS110L Vaccum
8 von 9 finden das hilfreich I wanted a light, cordless vacuum for light cleanup jobs which a ordinary mop wouldn't pick up without having to use my main vacuum. I like it for the above reasons and it does a reasonably good job of picking up such things as crumbs that an ordinary mop such as swifter leaves behind. It's fold down handle fits in a small space and doesn't take up much storage space as an ordinary vacuum does. It has two settings one for floor and one for carpets. However, I don't think it is worth the advertised retail price ($100) price and that is why I looked to eBay to buy it at half the price as I heard Oreck vacuums were good. What I don't like about it is the relatively short time in use (1/2-3/4 hr) before it begins to fail to pick up. This is compensated for by keeping it plugged in on its recharger when not in use. The thing I dislike about it the most is cleaning the dust filter. Instruction say to wash the filter using a soft brush if necessary. I don't really like the idea of dust and hair going down the drain of my sink. Then there's the brush to clean too--double work. I take my regular vacuum cleaner using the hose attachments and just vacuum the dust filter out. It does a pretty good job that way and I don't have the messy job of washing the filter out and waiting for it to dry before putting it back into the cleaner. An ideal situation would be to somehow eliminate cleaning the dust filter altogether or to package dust filters like vacuum cleaner bags and just throw away the old one when it gets too dirty. Overall, I like it and it does do a nice job of picking up and if you can get it at a cheaper price all the better.
