Bluetooth for old Civic
I drive a Old Honda Civic 2004. Problem is that I used an FM transmitter and the static was unbearable. So I did my research and found this device.
I will be honest, I was hesitant about this device due to the fact that i doubted it would work. But it worked first time after installing this device and connecting it to the CD changer that I do not have in my car. The device itself is really lovely and it seems to have no issue connecting to the device. You can use the radio controls to change tracks which is a bonus.
The packaging is in a small bag so it’s really not that big at all. It comes with instruction but installing wise, I had to do my own research on how to access the backside of the radio.
Also it has an AUX input as well which is really nice for those who do not want to use Bluetooth at all. So you get beat of both worlds.
The device itself is placed in the glovebox compartment until I find a more permanent solution to place the device but for now it’s in the glove box. It does come with a microphone which is connected and inside the glovebox. As a temporary solution.
The price wise could be lower but to make it a bit more affordable but it’s a minor price to pay comparing a one off change to convert an old stereo into a Bluetooth device.
This is a highly recommended device for old Civic that does not have a CD changer unit and for those who just do not like static on their FM transmitter. A huge game changer.
