On the edge of my set
That’s what I was the whole time. I didn’t know if someone was going ti live or die. There was no time for love or forgiveness. No time for games. Straight to the point. This show became and instant classic to me. I have rewatched it a few time now. Still great every time. Then there’s the Netflix version that ends everything in a nice net bow. If your into to anime that keeps you on your toes, this may be your show. It is a zombie like show so it gets pretty deadly. I wouldn’t recommend for kids that wouldn’t understand the story.

Miyazaki all over it.
Knowing that he’s the screen writer/ story board. And the art speaks and screams Miyazaki. It is not exactly the same style as his studio Ghibli works. But you do see a lot of Castle in the sky and Nausicaa: of the valley of the wind in there. In fact it was made just before he started the manga. Great show has lull spots but over all great show.
