An essential series of compilations - Get all 4
The whole series is essential for anyone looking to collect some of the trendiest music from a scene currently well on the upswing towards the peak of its powers. Haven't felt this good about the outlook of music in the UK since the early 00s.

An eye-opener to Oppenheimer's stylistic fingerprint for fans of The Look Of Silence and The Act Of Killing
This DVD would be worth it for any Oppenheimer enthusiast for the inclusion of The Globalisation Tapes alone, the spiritual predecessor to his great works The Look Of Silence and The Act Of Killing (the latter of which I should be legally obliged to tell you is only worth watching in its original, "Director's Cut" form, not the hacked-up USA theatrical cut). The various zany shorts are a fun glimpse of the sort of mind to come up with the phantasmagoria of The Act Of Killing's descent-into-hell back half, but there is an undercurrent of late-millennium fin-de-siècle solemnity beneath the childlike presentation. By far the main attraction is 2003's The Globalisation Tapes, however. A curio but a very good one for those looking to complete their collection of Oppenheimer's work to date.
