What BMW should've produced in the 1st place

This was a replacement for a breather pipe on an e60 [LCI] 520d - BMW have initially used cheap and poor quality part which was covered in rubber that eventually melted and caused an air leak. Later on engineers redesigned the pipe with this one. Although it is cheap, it does the job. Can't believe BMW use cheap stuff on a flagship model - many parts designed by Mitsubishi, such as the turbo for example and all other parts designed by other manufacturers like Peugeot... What is actually made by BMW?!?!?!

Does it really work?

Used this on my BMW (diesel of course) and I can't really see any difference - my car feels and pulls the same as ever. Perhaps it does something that you are unable to see, such as cleaning the injectors and doing something good to the engine. It doesn't harm putting this in once every 6 months, however once again I've not seen any different as some people state they've experienced, e.g. more pull, smooth engine, less noise, etc.

Better than expected!

Worked well for a few months and now one side of the lights are brighter than the other. Not of good quality.
