  I just happened across this negative review a few days ago, as I don't have much up for sale right now. I was never contacted by the buyer about this concern, and I was never asked for a refund (for a ~$400 14KT necklace). I reached out to the buyer when I saw this review, but have not heard back. Had I been contacted at any point, I would have offered two remedies: return for free for a full refund, or take it to a jeweler for authentication (usually free). I have reported the buyer to eBay.
