Well fitting joystick button. (mine was missing!) It's not really possible to fit the rubber into the camera rear panel housing without major dismantling, but it fits over the button securely and gives a pretty good cover seal from there. I'm happy with it.

Great learning experience
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I did some internet research before buying this printer - which payed off as it had become £20 cheaper by the time I shelled out for it! The consensus seemed to be that it was a good idea to build from a kit as this would give more insight into how the printer worked over buying a ready-built machine. It did! There were quite a lot of comments about the 'interesting' Chinese/English translation in the assembly instructions. I found it not too bad, there are however several mistakes in the wiring instructions some more obvious than others - if followed slavishly the machine will not work. A bit of time deciphering which port on the motherboard does what (also not exactly right in the instructions) resulted in everything working first time. Oh yes - the Cura software included on the SD card wouldn't install due to some damaged file in my case - I may have been unlucky - but it doesn't matter as the software is open-source (free) and readily available. Don't forget to alter the Cura printer settings to suit this one - the details are given in the assembly instructions. The first print failed due to missed layers - I discovered that the spool dispenser cradle didn't allow the spool to unroll easily, causing feed starvation. Redesigned the dispenser using bearings and the second print worked without flaws. It's quite mesmerizing watching the printer gradually create the print - probably worth keeping an eye on the first one or two while you make sure it all works. Printer is quiet and smooth and as far as I'm concerned, an ideal inexpensive introduction to 3D printing.
