Buy this sharpener instead of buying new knives!
I'm so glad I stumbled across this sharpener! I was looking at buying new knives -- having pretty much given up on the ones I own. The Accusharp has worked wonders on my knife set. This is the first time in years that I've easily been able to use them without feeling like I was using a hacksaw. It's a great value and an amazingly simple tool to use. I'm actually planning to purchase a spare.
HINT: If your knives are in horrible shape, sharpen them twice. Once when you first get the Accusharp, then again right before you use the knife. You'll be amazed at the difference this will make.
