Works exactly as it should
It works perfectly. I bought one of these to replace the power supply for a car cooler and liked it so much that I built the first one into my cooler and bought a second one for general use. The only minor grumble I have is that the power lead goes upward instead of downward when plugged into an Australian main power outlet. If this is a problem, you could easily replace the IEC power lead supplied with one designed for Australia.

OK for all but hard steel.

I have only tried one 5mm drill from this set so far and that in a piece of 6mm thick mild steel in a hole fairly close to a weld. The drill blunted quickly and was not able to complete the hole. A good HSS bit should do better. As proof, I later completed the hole in less time than I spent with the bit from this set by using a quality bit from another source.
If you're only going to drill wood, plastic or soft metals, these drills represent good value but forget them for steel that has been hardened in any way such as by welding.

1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Pros: Item is compact, cheap, easy to set up and does the job most of the time. It supports MPEG-4 HD broadcasts. It works fairly well in a fringe area of difficult reception.
Cons: Remote is too small with button labels that are hard to read in less than ideal light. Layout of buttons and menu sequences make navigation to some tasks difficult. Had a problem with time setting - auto based on region did not work with time being one hour fast or slow depending on how it woke up. Setting GMT offset and daylight saving manually solved this. Date does not always increment correctly for daily or weekly recordings sometimes resulting in missed recordings. Has a problem when returning to broadcast viewing after watching a previously recorded program in that it will not show the previously selected channel until it has been manually tuned to another channel then back to the desired channel.
Summary: If you only want to view broadcast or previously recorded programs or you're prepared to put up with the hassles and occasional missed recordings, this is a cheap unit that supports the new MPEG-4 broadcasts and a reasonable range of video formats. Can't recommend it for everyone especially if you want reliable recording when you are away..
