Very Good Selection and Performance of Mid-West Old-Timey-Style String Band Music.
Twenty-three "Old-Timey-style" tunes (NOT BLUEGRASS) well-executed without excessive ornamentation by Master Missouri Fiddler Lyman Enloe and accompanied by excellent Guitar, Three-finger-style Banjo, and Mandolin. The rarely heard "Nervous Breakdown" with its difficult key modulations is exceptional! The entire compendium is well-produced and engineered with a good balance among the instruments. The only deficiency is the relative brevity of the selections comprising the Album - only one to two minutes each but they can be easily repeated.

Selected Well-Illustrated Stories of Uncle Remus Re-Told by Disney in Easy-to-Understand Modified Southern Dialect
The Classic Uncle Remus Stories as originally collected and transcribed by Joel Chandler Harris from the tales directly related to him by venerable old African-Americans is here re-told and profusely excellently illustrated by Walt Disney. The text is in a modified version of the original Southern Dialect which makes these Folk Tales easier for both children and adults to understand while still retaining the flavor and character of the colorful old-time language now practically extinct.
