Truly a Restoration of the leading man and his immediate world seamlessly done.
Great casting and a true historical background of the plague and the London fire all well documented by Samuel Pips (Pyps) diary at the time. Nothing like a great fiction and history sandwich for a real treat of a movie.
Having been a movie fan since 6 and a fair critic ever since I could spend 2500 words on this film and it's characters. Enjoy it!
