Not really Yamaha.
I lost one recently and despite they similar yellow box and oriental writing, it's not a real Yamaha. The only Western writing on it says "SATOH SHOJI INC".The finish is slightly coarser and the plastic is lighter weight than the Lexan used in my real Yamaha mouthpiece. Does it work, yes. I'm still using it in few cold weather performances so it is usable but I'm disappointed I didn't get an actual replacement for the one I lost.

As good as original...
When I bought a generic print head for my Canon printer, I was a bit dubious but in installing it and cleaning the contacts on the printer, it worked fine. It looked identical, fit easily and I could not distinguish the printed results from the original print head (except this one worked). A new OEM print head should NOT cost as much as the original machine and this is a worthy replacement.

Only power tool you'll need.
With the Ryobi base and battery system and a variety of heads, this is the only power tool you will need for most light home repairs and creations. The multi-tool head and it's variety of available cutters and blazes covers many light household cuttings, grinding and smoothing. Add compatible heads by Rigid and you can do some serious cutting, drilling and shaping. The only reason I didn't give this5 stars is that the latching mechanism for the interchangeable heads is difficult to get off and on.
