Replace worn out buttons
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I purchased two of these to replace 12 year old Prius fobs with worn out buttons.
The hardest part of switching out the "guts" of the old fob to the new one is needing to open the old fob. You need a sharp blade to pry the old fob open. Once opened, simply remove the parts from inside and insert them into the new replacement fob shell. The replacement shell (which this review is for) is already open, so only needs to be *carefully* superglued together once the "guts" of the old fob are inserted. Makes the fob work like new! Buttons work perfectly and because you aren't programming anything - merely switching the pieces around - there are no compatibility issues.
Be sure to remove the actual chip from the top end of the old fob. A little dark colored chunk of plastic lodged at the very top end of the fob. Without that, you can't start the car. Video on YouTube illustrate it.

Nope
Picked up 8 over-the-air channels, and even then picture froze up constantly. Wouldn't recommend.
