Stunning up to date presentation

I saw this series on TV when it was made in 1999, and I decided to get it now on DVD. It was just as good as I remembered it. OK, so the computer graphics have moved on but this film is still great. Sound tracks of explosions in space have to be heard to be believed. The scientific theories are very convincingly presented, just on the edge before getting too complicated. The voyager episode is just great, amazing that they could do this in the 70s. Really recommended for anyone interested in space. The Gustav Holst "Planets" score is soon to be 100 years old but still perfect for the film.

Tarantino's worst

I can't understand that QT made this POS after Pulp fiction and Kill Bill. Promising characters and cool action scenes is ruined by a ridiculous and boring plot. 2/3s of the film is incoherent dialogue between young girls, which do not bring the story forward. The police gives up and quits following the killer. The basis of the last car chase is utter bullshit. The only reason to spend two hours watching this is to complete the Tarantino canon.

Great product.

All my basses have them, they keep the tone much longer than standard strings.
