pretty good. Excellent quality of pages and construction, as is expected from pre-90's books.
I wouldn't say better than expected, but it's good. better than okay. I guess I expected it to have more pages, more patterns. I also wish it had included more spiral flower patterns.

The only think that I was a little disappointed with is that the pictures and some of the title texts were not as big as they were in a copy that I had checked out from a library once. I think it detracted from the drama of the product a bit- I had viewed this book as a work of art and that slight alteration made it a bit less so. It's still remarkably priced and one of the most important books on celtic culture in the world.
