New Battery, Old Stock
Battery two months younger than my Hudl. Not surprising as genuine replacement and they haven't been made for years. Easy fit, once case open.. Old battery not holding charge. New one working well. First charge takes a while as units have been around, looking charge for several years. Should extend the life of my Hudle .

More of a tall doughnut.
The tube up the middle is 0.5 inch od and the cake shrinks away leaving a hole about 0.8 inch. The top of the cake is a bit weak. For me a solid cake better. Used a pudding basin in the past. Plan to replace tube with a nut and bolt.

Good even illumination
I was concerned that the illumination might not be even across the tablet, but I,m pleased to say it is. 😀
Wth the moment I am using it to sort my transparency collection.
