Great looking game
I only played the demo so far and I really liked it and saw part of the gameplay on Youtube so I decided to buy it. Bought it brand new and from "gamercandy" seller. From my taste in RPGs, I will most likely enjoy it a lot. The adventuring part kind of reminds me of like Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy. You can run into every monster if you want and fight them, or try to avoid them. The game is actually pretty forgiving on getting too close to them. Unless you literally make contact, you won't fight them so long as there's at least a tiny distance.
From what I saw on Youtube about the beginning of it, it also kind of reminds of how .hack//G.U. Volume 2 starts. Where you're trapped in something and trying to escape. The battle system isn't turned based. You eventually get a party of 6 and can switch between them so that's pretty nice. The game is good at explaining that stuff if you try the demo and put on tutorials. I like how Velvet's hair looks like kind of like a mess but also braided, and the tattered cape makes me think of Vincent from Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus. I think that's about all I can say about it until I fully play the actual game. If you're not a fan of RPGs, then probably avoid it. I would think most RPG fans would like this game.
