Lovely Little Example of Neat Engineering for Next to Nothing
I was most impressed by these brass barrel hinges (concealed hinges) - close fitting and accurate in operation for just over a quid a piece. I'm almost tempted to start some additional projects just to use them!

Great for simply playing 4K blu-ray discs, but check your AV system before buying
This Panasonic 4K blu-ray player is pretty much at the bottom of the price range, but produces a good 4K picture if connected directly to a 4K TV. However, the player only has one HDMI output; if I want surround sound, I have to connect it to the TV via my pre-4K AV system. As a result, the video signal is degraded and the picture is less clear. Replacing my otherwise perfectly adequate AV system is an expensive option that would have been avoided if the Panasonic player had two HDMI outputs. So, if you have an AV system, check that it can handle HDMI 2.0 signals before buying this player.

Sticks strongly
It does as it claims. In my case it stuck some cracked plastic conduit back together sufficiently strongly that I could put cables through it and click the plastic cap onto the top.
