Excellent book on ancient Italy
I got interested in ancient Italy after watching history programs on TV and this substantial book has plenty of information and illustrations of ancient Italian art and architecture.

Excellent series of the Brits abroad.
An excellent comedy series. I have watched all the series and am collecting them on DVD. Just about all the different types of character are represented from the would-be Lothario Mateo to the put-upon snobbish manageress Joyce to the bickering Garveys and the acid-tongued Madge plus all the others too many to mention - a brilliant ensemble.

Who is doing the stalking?
A good thriller starring Antonio Banderas and Rebecca DeMornay about a woman who meets a mysterious stranger and then fears she is being stalked. It is the sort of thriller that has been done many times before but even so, it is always a treat to see well-established stars taking on the roles. The ending may not be to everyone's taste but overall, it is an entertaining evening's viewing.
