Al Capone Shines My Shoes
This book is a sequel to the author's "Al Capone Does My Shirts", written in the same style, using all of the same characters plus a few more. Ms. Choldenko's writing style is engaging; we really care about Moose and his sister, Natalie. And, we learn more about human nature, and the treatment of mental illness/autism during the 1930's.
My son really enjoyed the previous book and this one as well.
We recommend this book to anyone, especially someone who has read and enjoyed "Al Capone Does My Shirts".

Great basic cookbook!
I replaced a previously published version of the Good Housekeeping Illustrated American Cookbook with this 1982 version and it is perfect. The photos grab your attention and easy-to-follow recipes are a delight. I highly recommend!
