    Bump stop bore dia is too large.
    Whilst this kit is listed for my 1998 Toyota starlet the hole thru the bump stop is far too large for a genuine toyota macpherson strut but I suspect it would be fine if using a Monroe strut. I suppose its just one of those aftermarket issues. Had to modify the old original genuine bump to suit the monroe gater.

    Good tool but be careful of the tools size range
    Its quite difficult to find a tool that you can be sure will actually fit/grip your you particular tie rod and not end up wilh a tool that doesn't do the job. I did have the new tie rod before ordering this tool so a range of 33 to 42mm should have been ok as the diameter of my tie rod was 34mm. In reality 34mm was too close to the tools bottom range and it started to slip once under pressure . What I had to do was insert a curved steel shim on the opposite side of the tool (opposite side to the rotating cam that is) which in effect bought the tool back into a usable operating range for my tie rod. Once this shim was inserted the toolworked a treat. Hope this info helps those about to tackle an inner tie rod.
