I'd say it because of the storyline. One minute you're having a good time and the next minute something tragic happens when you least expect it. The other factor is because what I bought has special features, whereas the double disc version doesn't have any special features. Anyway, I hope this review helps.

Besides the fact that its entertaining, and that the characters are definitely engaging, it's also because i was born in the 80's. 80's movies, especially horror, was, but still is a dominant era. Anyway, i hope this helps.
