It does the job
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This device exhibits poor build quality, requiring repair before installation. First, the side drilled hinge holes are not equidistant from the top, causing the cover to hang crooked and bang the frame. The cover was bent and the plastic inserts that accept the hinge screws strip very easy.
Rather than hassle with return, I elongated one hinge hole to provide for cover adjustment. For the hinge inserts I applied plumbers tape on the screws and bent the cover back into shape.
Be advised that the unit is very difficult to load a new paper roll; the dimples for the spindle are hard to see and the cover is always in your face. A pop-out / snap-in cover would reduce the aggravation.
The unit did come with sheet plastic on the chrome for protection but removing it is a test of patience. The unit shipped from China in a plastic bag.
Bought this unit to inhibit my cats' delight in shredding toilet paper; it works for all but the most determined cats. This device truly has trade-offs. Looks great in the picture but is very weak on design.
