Dystopian groove metal
Had heard good things about this album and band
from Andrew O' Neill's book 'The History Of Heavy Metal'.
Glad to find it lived up to this, not a weak point on the album.
Amazing vocal delivery, wall of sound guitars.
Influenced by Apocalypse Now, Blade Runner, The Terminator, etc.

Anarchic 'creepy neighbours next door' comedy.
This is a real comedy gem from the 80's from the director
of Gremlins 1 and 2, Joe Dante. It blends broad slapstick humour
with a ghoulish sensibility, much like Gremlins as mentioned above.
Although very much an 80's style movie in style, it has aged better than
most. Highly recommended.

A very 'David Lynch' film. Nightmarish and surreal but beautiful.
Underrated follow up to Blue Velvet even though it won a top award.
Truly bonkers characters and very uneven but so much to admire aswell.
An unlikely fairytale but approach with caution :)
