Used it 3 times, taking over 300 images.

I can hardly believe how quickly it focuses. I use it naked on a crop sensor camera, coupling it to a 1.3 and 1.7 teleconverter for 100mm steps to 950mm. This flexibility is exactly what is needed for wildlife photography. One great piece of glass that can cover any situation in wildlife photography. At air shows I set the camera up for 950mm and carry a second camera and a 70-200mm lens with a 1.7 teleconverter to cover myself for any situation. Changing cameras takes only a second and I can fill the frame on every shot. Since you only get one opportunity to get an image, especially in an active environment, I feel carrying the weight and bulk of the two cameras an absolute necessity. The 200mm is toted around in a custom backpack with hard sides, wheels and a pull out handle and the 70-200mm outfit is transported with a shoulder sling. The entire setup works very well. I feel blessed to be able to own such marvelous equipment. Alan

Picture Light

The light is beautiful, puts out a soft light spreading across the entire image and is not visible to the observer. Great product.
