What a great DVD. Filmed in a suberb Welsh Location
The Indian Doctor, a great dvd was a surperb tv programme. About life in the 60s, when foreign Doctors were few and far between. ITs about a small Welsh Mining town. whose doctor Dies and the Idian Doctor is sent as His repacement. The Town where it was filmed is BLAENAVON Home to Big Pit Mininig Museum. His posh wife is not happy with the Locals but things change. Greats actors Mark Williams (Harry Potter) Sanjeev Bhaskar ,Ayesha Dharker to name a few. I purchased this DVD from Ebay and saved on retail price. The show is on BBc wales from monday 24th. October (RPT). A new series as just been filmed in Blaenavon which is due on TV next February 2012. Great Viewing . Give it a try..
