Ping PP58 MIDSIZE Black Putter Grip

The ping Midsize can make a huge difference

I had this on a new ping answer originally. I went to a smaller original size and noticed the putter was off and I couldn't get a feel for sped vs with the original midsize. I finally thought maybe the weight of the grip changes the way the putter feels by counter balancing. Sure enough back to the midsize and ping answer was great again. The margin of error for the smaller grip was so small there was no way to consistently get a feel for speed of greens, but with the midsize weight, even though you may not like the larger diameter, increased the margin of error for speed consistency. Sounds fluky but it's something to consider, and I'm loving the grip bigger diameter and all because I putt better with it .. and that's that.

Was really impressed..

This stuff is right on the money color and it is as advertised. Just follow the instructions. I would remove the pads and adjust calipers to get some clearance from rotors (clearly removing calipers is most ideal but you don't have to). Clean caliper surfaces as best you can with supplied cleaner, it won't be perfect. Use 2-3 oks.. it's the 2nd and 3rd coat that start to pay off.. great stuff.. will be getting more. Paint is not the way to go.. the brush on application is not that bad and get yourself a couple nice tiny brushes (probably toast after the application but meh). As close to powder coating on the car that you can get without removing or buying aftermarket calipers.
