This is for a new Intex 24 x 12 pool. Previously used Intex salt water system on smaller pool. My wife was reluctant to stick with salt water system because it never really worked. I took the chance. Our tests of the water never shows a problem. Only issue I had was adapting unit for an Intex pool, the mounts included are for an in ground pool, or more expensive above ground pool. A bracket for Intex frame would be a good addition. Other than that, I easily installed control unit on wall and had unit up and running in no time.
