It is actually the Apple Ipod 120 gb Classic

The Apple Ipod 120 gb Classic is great. In the last 1+ month, my Dad, uncle and I have purchase 4 of the Apple Ipod 120 gb Classic. We bought them to use as "portable DVR's". They are listed to be able to hold 150 hours of video, but we have discovered otherwise. We use a free software called Handbrake. It is best to save the movie to your hard drive and then run Handbrake. This way your dvd drive is constantly spinning. Handbrake compresses the video so a movie that might have been 3-4 gb is now usually less than 1 gb. We have found that 225-250 hours of video can be put on the ipod. If you want to watch it thru your tv, we use the Dynex-IPDX-2 docking station(the remote will have 9 buttons on it)to connect to the tv. The movies play great. My Dad and uncle just went to Tucson to see family, and when there was no good movie on tv, they hooked up the docking station and ipod to the tv and watched movies. I have just started loading mine and so far I have 40+ movies, 700+ songs, and my contact list. If you travel/fly, you can watch a movie without having to pay for the headset to rent. My Dad uses his at doctor's offices when he has a long wait. Besides movies and music, he has also downloaded podcasts. As you can probably tell, our family is thoroughly enjoying their Apple120 gb Classic Ipod. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours.

Apple Ipod 120 gb Classic

The sound and video quality are great. Even though it states it will hold up 150 hours of video, I have found that encoding movies thru a free software called Handbrake, compresses the files so I am actually going to be able to put on almost 225-250 hours of video. It is a great portable "DVR". To watch it thru my tv I use the Dynex-IPDX2 docking station(you can tell as the remote has 9 buttons on it)and the picture is great. My Dad and uncle just took it with them on a trip to Tucson, and when there was no movie on tv, they hooked up their Apple Ipod 120 gb Classic and docking station and watched movies. I've just started loading mine up, but so far I have 40+ movies, 700+ songs and my contacts. I thoroughly enjoy using mine and if you fly, you can watch movies without paying for a headset!!!!
