Good quality copy.
The cover of the novel is in very good condition, if the pages within are clearly old (but undamaged). More than anything I am happy that this novel is in good enough condition to give as a gift. As for The House of the Spirits itself, read it, Isabel Allende's first novel. 'Barrabas came to us by sea, the child Clara wrote in her delicate calligraphy...'

Does the job
I have a b-g standard Kindle, bought for me by my son some time ago. The recharger works and all is well with the world. Hurrah!

Fragile but effective
A good product, if clearly fairly fragile. For me though, that they work, with good volume, is much appreciated.
