Easy mod for Wave to fit
Based on the price, I bought this sheath for my Leatherman Wave. Because it is a little bit too big for the Wave, it is difficult to pull the tool out of it. I found that if I laid an inch-long piece of 3/8” o.d. rubber automobile vacuum tubing down in the bottom, the Wave sticks up more and is easy to pull out. The one other drawback is that the spare bit holder for the Wave doesn’t fit inside the case. I’ve put that in my utility drawer:-(
This does appear to be a sturdy sheath that will last quite a while.
