Versatile pedal • commuting/touring • hard wearing
I’ve been wanting a pair of these pedals for over 5 years and so glad I found a 2nd hand pair on eBay.
I commute 30+ miles a day in Greater London and The City and used to use pedals that clip in both sides. That meant I could only comfortably ride if wearing my clip-in shoes, which are quite heavy and stiff (I use MTB shoes).
Now I can take trips on my bike in normal trainers or shoes and it’s changed everything!
I feel like I don’t want to use any other pedal now. Really comfortable on the flat side, with enough grip to feel secure and still easy to find the other side of the pedals when wearing my SPD shoes.
I would recommend these pedals if you use SPD shoes for commuting or races but also use the same bike for more relaxed leisure riding.
If you don’t want to wear your SPD shoes each and every time you ride your bike - these pedals are perfect.

Small and versatile pick
Found these small Dunlop Tortex H1’s about 3 years ago and haven’t looked back since. I find them really versatile and like how they wear after lots of use. Personally I’m not keen on picks with pointy ends and the small profile is perfect for small hands and fingers.

Great cycling glove, decent padding and protection
Good fit; really decent padding along the knuckles (palm side!) and the pressure points that often go numb on rides. I've been through quite a few cycling gloves as I commute and cycle just under 200km a week and I have a feeling these are going to hold up well. Got soaked today in the downpour and they were still comfortable. Dry really quickly too! Would highly recommend.
