I have rebuilt the original engine 3 times and each time ended up with valve push rods coming out and the last time the rod went into crankcase causing irreparable damage internally to the engine. The engine was john deere branded so I thought it would be better than what it was. At least the new engine is made in the usa and that should be enough said
