The Myth of German Villainy by Benton L. Bradberry: New
13. Okt 2021
Read this book.... while you still can.
So few of these books make it to the open market. I used to buy this kind of stuff at flee markets out of the back of some guys van. Its so important to keep this information alive, and to have counterpoint to such a carefully crafted narrative. This information is still relative to the western world. We face the same threat today. It will never be... but it should be required reading. Its important to see the flip side of the coin. And the fact that the flip side of the coin is actively suppressed, is evidence enough that you should put a little effort into checking it out. This book is an easy read. Its a good primer for those beginning to peel back the layers. If this information was more openly discussed and distributed... People could make more enlightened decisions what to believe...on their own. The usury that the chosen ones engage in, has to stop at some point. It can't go on forever.

(2) Two Replacement for Motorola KSN1025A Piezo Horn Driver 3"x7"
03. Mai 2019
Decent....
I bought these to replace Pyramid TW38 multi-cell piezo's that I had been using in some vintage PA cabinets, I had restored. The Pyramids were absolutely incredible... and I ran them pretty hard for about 2 years before one of them bit the dust. I own a sound company, and used these little speakers as general purpose fills. It brought me great sadness to learn that the Pyramids are no longer available. In fact I could not find any multi-cell piezo's at all. So I set about trying to find something in the same performance range that would fit my cabinets. I found these and went with them... I did have to do a little alteration to my cabinets to get these to fit properly, but it wasn't hard. Sound wise, these things do not touch the Pyramids. And they only handle about half the power. But these aren't bad. They are pretty faithful recreations of the old Motorola piezo's. I believe somebody bought the equipment from Motorola (when they stopped making them) and kept making them. These may be from that manufacturer. They are a little crispy sounding... but that may because I still need to break them in some more. And it's nothing that a little EQ can't fix. I can't speak to the lasting power, as I've only had them for a few weeks. In my experience with piezo's... they tend to have a break in period, and then they usually smooth out. And you usually hear it in a an instant.... you will hear an audible change for the better. They do not publish a dispersion pattern... but I'm sure it's 60 x 40. They are very directional. You think that would give them some throw distance..... but they drop off pretty quickly. They're good for about 30ft. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, and for the money you can't really complain about that. Piezo's, in general, get a bad wrap because most people don't know how to use them properly. I suggest studying up, if you're unfamiliar. Lots of stuff on the web about them. I will say, I do recommend using a passive crossover of some sort. It's not necessary, but seems to yield a better result... and amps seem to like it better that way. If you have some old stereo or PA speakers, and want to try experimenting with piezo's.. these aren't a bad place to start.
Samson MB1 Mini Boom Stand, 19.5" Max Height #SAMB1

Great dollar to performance ratio.
I own a small sound company and have recently been updating my mic stand inventory. I purchased all I needed in the way of tall tripod booms, and straight round base stands. Next on the list was short booms. After a lot of searching, and a desire to save some money... I chose the Samson MB1. I really like the weighted base, and the three prong foot design. It supports all mics in my inventory, even the bigger kick drum mics. They extend to a decent height. I can mic guitar amps, even they are elevated on case lids. Great even for things like saxophones. I can even get them high enough to mic things like congas on stands and timbales. They are great for things like hi-hats, snare top and bottom, guitar and bass cabinets, etc... If you are into under miking your ride cymbal, great for that too. If you have to boom all the way out to get a mic into a tight spot, the weighted base is suitable for supporting most mics. I would classify it as a medium duty stand. It may not stand up to major world tour abuse, but it should do fine for anything short of that. Small sound companies, night clubs, schools, churches, bands, theaters, hotels, convention halls... would all be perfect candidates for this stand. I would recommend taking a little extra care with this stand, than you might with more expensive stands. Over tightening the various adjustments can strip out the threads, etc... Overall it's a great stand with a lot of versatility.
