Powerful Magnets in a Small Package
I was surprised how powerful these magnets are attracted to each other. Just pulling one of these little bars away from the stack is an effort! I used these magnets to hold two foot long LED lighting strips in place versus the plastic clips which originally held it in place. One magnet is glued on each end of the LED strip and a corresponding magnet is glued on the mounting surface. I wanted to be able to remove the LED strips at the end of the day and put it back on in the morning with little fuss. A good amount of hot glue seems to hold it in place, but I may have to try epoxy if the hot glue gives out.

I Think This Might Be the Fastest Rear Tire for My Velomobile
I was looking for a wide, lightweight supple rear tire for my velomobile because I suspect it might have low rolling resistance and this tire was the best available. I also use a latex tube with this tire for even more reduction in rolling resistance. There are other quality tires available, but they were more narrow and I suspect they would have higher rolling resistance because of the narrower width, plus they don't have off-the-shelf latex tubes that would fit, you would have to fabricate them. I've had good luck with these tires, no flat for 500 miles and counting but you do have to pump them up before every ride which is no big deal in my book. I just completed a supported 100 mile cycling event, I will go back to heavier, more robust tires for my training rides because the Panaracers probably have a shorter life due to a thin tread.

Made Well, Super Price
These ball bearing transfer units seem to be durable and well made. I actually didn't try to use them for their intended purpose, I tried to use them for an invention I was working on (which didn't turn out so good), so I can't comment on how well they would work as part of a conveyor, but I would think they would work fine. For the price, each one seemed to be consistently made and with the same amount of feel to them.
