Rest on my back.

These look great on the table. The finish is a clear glaze that brings out the beautiful colors used for the feathers. There is a lot of three dimensional detail: feathers, eye sockets, wings and tail. They are very light but hold still to support your chop sticks. I tried some of my various food picks on them and they worked for that as well. Some friends already had chop sticks so I gave some ducks as a gift and they were impressed. If you know anyone with a duck décor, they also look good in a still life or in the display cabinet on the wall. Great little guys to have around.

Good for the price

First, I have not actually scaled a fish yet, so these are impressions based on the tool right out of the package. Body is comfortable to hold and feels like it would take as much pressure as needed to remove scales. Pulling it across my palm, the angle is good and the teeth are sharp enough to pull the scales off the skin. The lid seems to be of a brittle plastic. Don't know how long the "hinge" will last unless very gentle care is taken when the well is emptied. Latch did not lock in place. Still a good buy even if it becomes necessary to replace it on a regular basis.

Round out your Dewalt suite

Unpacked this item and plugged one of my 18V Dewalt batteries onto it and it worked first time. At this price if you have 18V batteries and don't have one or two of these, order one now. Useful in dark corners of the basement, or to check out that noise in the crawl space or attic, or to walk out to the car if the outside lamp has burnt out and you didn't notice. Homeowners, it's not just for construction. Add one or two to your kit.
