Makes old new again

The movement comes complete with different sets of, "Hands" which make it more able to customize when space is limited. Keeps good time but you have to make sure you set time exactly at chime position, e.g. you cannot move hands to match chime but must physically set to match time. It's all explained in directions, follow them closely. Chime is a little scratchy but a nice addition to a timepiece. A, "Fun" project. Battery enclosure is a pain to mount, needs a few mounting holes or additional bracket for securing. Two faced tape will work for awhile but eventually fails.

Dramatic Speed Increase

Had been using a HUB to split CAT5 feed to two computers. Either it was failing or just couldn't do the job. When direct wired to one computer speed increase was noticeable. (without Hub) I decided to try a Switch and was well pleased with the result. No significant drop in speed on either computer compared with/to direct connection. Well pleased with purchase. Unable to rate as was purchased as a gift.

I have an almost identical unit that works slick as a whistle and has been invaluable on many occasions. As for this particular unit, we'll have to wait and see how it's received. Uncle Bob
